So today will be a good day after the disaster of yesterday. Leftover rice, mushroom and chard in an omelette for breakfast, cheese salad sandwich for lunch and takeaway burger and chips for tea. Whoopsie...
So today I will avoid bread completely. Breakfast this morning is a large fruit salad with watermelon, gala melon, pineapple and blueberries and a bowl of muesli and a small amount of skimmed milk. Lunch is going to be beetroot (from the lottie) and feta cheese salad (with lettuce from lottie too!) and dinner is going to be chickpea biryani. Fingers crossed for a good food day!!!.

3 stone 4lb and need a change
I started going to Slimming world classes last September and very quickly lost a lot of weight. And then Christmas happen and I have stagnated. I cannot seem to retain the motivation to get the syn free snacks or make things in advance. If I see another bowl of soup I may cry, and I find that I am sneaking a McDonalds when my family is not looking again. It is all going wrong. Worse than that I am starting to resent eating the healthy foods that I do enjoy eating. I need a change. So I am not going to Slimming World any more. I may go back after I have had a break, and I do need to loose about another 2 stone.
So I am going to use this blog to chart EVERYTHING that I eat, and see if I can't keep up with slimming world principles and lose a little more without the thought of "deprivation". As it turns out I am a rebellious teenager at heart, and as much as Slimming World is about managing treat rather than depriving treats, you can't really eat chippy chips, or an actual chocolate bar. It costs too many syns, so I don't eat it and then I want it more, and then I cave and eat twice as much as I would otherwise. So, new plan...
I will avoid bread, I will make sure half of my plate is vegetable/fruit based, I won't add extra fat to cook in, I will avoid sugar within reason. And I will have a takeaway once a week, saturday night will involve chocolate and 1 bottle of wine will be consumed without guilt. And I will weigh myself once a week.
